How Scene 5 was filmed

Scene 5 is the second party the main character Tyler attends, where he ends up having his first drink. This scene, filmed at the actress Kara's house, was filmed with the Nikon and a Rode mic. The scene started with Alex and Tyler sitting near each other, the camera first on Alex. The shot changed to a wider angle, and Tim entered the shot sort of like he did in the last scene, very chaotically. After it is made clear how drunk he is and he leaves, Alex left the shot as well. The shot then changes to just Tyler with some space on his right, where Kara enters. She offered him a drink, which he eventually accepted and a closer up shot of him showed him drinking it. The closing shot was the same angle with just the two of them.
