Introduction

This is the first post for the short film project I am working on. Unfortunately, the county in Central Florida where I go to school just recently got a new firewall. This new firewall blocked just about every website, including Blogger. A few days ago, the county unblocked Blogger and I was able to create this blog. 

I am working with Tyler Martin and Timothy Reich to create this short film. We started meeting before the Winter Holiday Break to brainstorm and figure out what we wanted our short film to be about. We decided on a moral first, which was teenage alcohol use. Timothy is the director, with Tyler and I being co-directors. 

Our main character is a Senior in high school, played by Tyler. This character has always had good grades, participated and done well in sports, as well as never gone to a high school party. However, the short film does not begin with him. We plan on having a young student sitting in a classroom, listening to a "D.A.R.E." officer talk about alcohol. He does not look very interested, and ends up falling asleep. Then the film cuts to a montage of the main character growing up.
